Welcome to my blog!

My name is Bram, and I love to read. I fit in audiobooks when I’m busy with studying and other college commitments, and sit down with a library book and cup of tea when I’m not.

About Me

I am a first-year student at a small liberal arts college in Minnesota studying Education, Sociology, and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

I am genderqueer and use they/them pronouns. If you are looking to be a better ally, check out this resource from The Trevor Project.

When I’m not studying for classes or reading queer books, you’ll likely find me being active – walking, running, biking, lifting weights, swimming, and more!

So, What Do I Read?

In 2025, I read 83 books. The year before that, I read 101!

I pick books from a wide variety of genres, including Middle Grade, Young Adult, and Adult Fiction, Memoir, Nonfiction, Poetry, Sci-Fi, Dystopia, Romance, Historical Fiction, and Horror.

Some of my favorite authors right now are-

Nonfiction: Brené Brown, Tarana Burke, and Chanel Miller

Middle Grade: Janae Marks, Robin Gow, Jess Callans

Young Adult: Shaun David Hutchinson, Joy McCullough, Ashley Herring Blake

Adult: Claire Keegan, Natalie Guerrero, and Sayaka Murata
